Meet Imogen

Hi, welcome to my page. My name is Imogen and I’m a Physiotherapist, Pilates instructor, ex-athlete, wife and mummy to 2 little boys. I have 15 years experience working as a physiotherapist both privately and within the NHS where I specialise in pelvic health and musculoskeletal conditions.

I completed my Pilates training with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute) and have over 8 years experience teaching mat-work Pilates. I started teaching face to face classes 6 years ago and have now moved to online pre-recorded classes. This is a brilliant way to allow people with busy life styles who struggle to commit to a face to face class to be able to participate in a physio-led class from the comfort of their own home at a time that suits you. It also means the classes can be repeated as many times as you like during the subscription period.

My depth of experience allows me to use Pilates safely to improve strength, tone and flexibility. Within each class,  I show modifications of many of the exercises to suit the ability and need of each client to give a personalised and effective class. Please note however that there are some health conditions that are not suitable for my classes and require a more specialised class. See FAQs tab for more info.
